Assassins Creed 2

My Friend Let me borrow this game yesterday and i had already played the first couple of missions . i played up until the part when Ezio assassinates the man who betrayed his father and then he begins to escort his mother and sister out of the city so far this game isn’t so bad its actually pretty good once you get past the awkward fighting mechanics and the bad graphics on the people and how they always look so dirty. But if you haven’t played the first one your screwed in the second one because the game only tells you how to walk and fun not how to free run or climb up buildings which is one of the first missions where you race your brother up to the top of a large building. despite this games faults it can actually be really fun. One of my favorite ways to mess around in this game is to be running around the city and randomly tackle people for no reason. and the way you steal from people is really funny is you position the camera perfectly it looks like your slapping their ass. ill keep you posted on this game as i go along

Modern Warfare 2 Not Worth the Hype???

When Modern Warfare 2 Came out there was so much hype about infnity ward’s follow up to Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare but now that the game is out one can see that it probably didn’t deserve all the hype it got in fact the game feels like CoD 4 but with a lot more stuff sort of like left 4 dead 2 it doesnt have the same feel as when you played CoD 4. In the single player campaign the first time you play it has explosive, cinematic action that keeps building up until the end of the game but something happens at the end after the poor faux boss battle the game makes sure it leaves off for a third installment in the game. the first game did not do this, the first had the feel like it didnt want to be a franchise game like halo or gears of war. The Spec-ops mode seems like it was forced in the game because of the whine of players who wanted a co-op mode the levels arent very memorable……… well maybe the Juggernaut and that levels explosive manner of killing the juggernaut.

The mode everyone was talking about was the multiplayer mode and all the new things that was going to bring with it. Some of the most talked about things was the new addition of akimbo weapons and the throwing knife, but in real gameplay the trowing knife is only mediocre but the addition of the akimbo weapons was actually pretty good and worked out well. another new thing is the addition of a tactical knife under certain guns and on paper it seems good a faster melee but a lot of people have taken that idea and warped it. same thing with akimbo rangers (a double barrel shotgun) and the model 1887’s (a lever action shotgun) these guns are a campers dream.

this game is great but i can see why it did not win game of the year.

Left 4 dead 2’s The Passing

The passing is a new campaign being released for left 4 dead 2.

It was announced in December.

There are a couple new things coming with the passing

New weapons

One melee

One firearm

But the big bombshell is

Louis, Francis, Zoey, and Bill

From Left 4 dead 1 are going to meet the new survivors of left 4 dead 2

And it was also hinted the there was the possibility of eight player Co-Op

What I am wondering is…

How will the all important conversations between survivors come out?

How will they interact with each other?

Certain characters have very abrasive personalities

For example, Nick From Left 4 Dead 2

And Francis from Left 4 Dead 1

Both are very aggressive and borderline mean

Francis’s personality is hilarious at times though

But Nick is always grave and serious and barely even cares about his teammates.

Another thing

The two new weapons

What will they be…????

Some shiny new gun

Or another blunt object to bash zombies heads in with??

Valve always seems to have something new up its sleeve and almost everything they make is always a blast to play…….

I hope they don’t ruin it……..

Bioshock 2

The follow up 2k games successful FPS tale of morality and betrayal

Bioshock 2 is set for release on 2/9/10

And much talk has come about of the new features included in this game most notably the inclusion of multiplayer in the sequel

Also the new single player campaign is set 10 years after players first explored the underwater city of rapture as Bioshock 1’s protagonist Jack

This time its different, the citizens of Rapture know you and they are wary of where you step

Because you are a citizen and a dangerous one at that

Awesome new songs and free!!!!!

The Smashing pumpkins are releasing a new album this year it is called Teargarden by Kaleidyscope and i did not spell that wrong thats how its spelled………. seriously its a new 40 song album and the best part its completly free and its being released as the band makes the album its amazing. two songs have been released so far. “Song for a Son” and  “Widow Wake My mind” both of these songs are actually really good, considering the bands recent work has been very drab and did not sell well at all not even close to mellon collie and the infinite sadness. but these two songs give me hope that Billy Corgan is still just as good as he was during the days of the gish album “Song for a son” came out first and it truly reminds me of the old days but it also shows how much Billy Corgan has grown in his song writing ability……..
